Netiquette Quote of The Day on Language - Via Netiquette IQ

My last blog contained an article which listed the least desirable words/phrases for resume cover letters or many other categories of messages. Email is sensitive. A misplaced comma or badly timed word can ruin an entire well-written message and all of the contents attached to it. Phrases which become dated can also be ruinous for email, given that the typical attention span time for a new message is three to eight seconds. I thought today's quote by Ezra Pound might be very appropriate here.

"Good writers are those who keep the language efficient. That is to say, keep it accurate, keep it clear."
